Vanwege de neurotoxiciteit die bij een cumulatieve dosis van 10 gram kan optreden, dient men na te gaan of clioquinol ooit eerder gebruikt is. Is clioquinol ooit eerder voorgeschreven dan kan dit middel niet nogmaals gebruikt worden. |

Amoebenabces, zonodig aspiratie.
LET OP! Behandeling amoebenabces (metronidazol of tinidazol) altijd direct vervolgen met contactamoebicide behandeling (clioquinol of paromomycine).
Bij voorschrijven paromomycine altijd eerst contact opnemen met uw apotheek.
